Dawood Abedi Amoli Dawood Abedi Ameli was born in 1316 in the city of Amel. After finishing his high school education in 1337 and after passing the entrance exam of Polytechnic University (currently Amir Kabir Industrial University), he studied chemical and petrochemical engineering and in 1342 he obtained a master's degree in the aforementioned fields. Behdash Chemical Company ,was established in 1359 in a small workshop in Tehran, in line with the goal of industrial independence of our dear country Iran, and in 1362 it was established as the first and largest producer of surfactants in the country.
From 2016 onwards, this company started investing and expanding its field of activity in the field of upstream industries and is currently a producer of raw materials and intermediates for the detergent, cosmetics, steel, tile and ceramic, petrochemical, oil and gas industries. With more than 250,000 tons of annual product production, about 20,000 tons of export of raw materials of the chemical industry are responsible for providing a share equal to 60% of domestic markets and 40% of exports to foreign target markets.
